His analytical rigor, operational experience, and business acumen allow him to see the full picture — from forecasting to profitability to growth planning.

With close to two decades of financial leadership experience, Dan built his career within large domestic and international businesses. He has guided billion-dollar business units, developed and executed cross-functional financial strategy, and drove organizations to make data-driven decisions that balance growth with long-term value.

Connell’s Tax & Advisory was founded by Dan to get back to the root of why he pursued accounting: to help others with their financial lives. He is passionate about helping clients attain their dream of growing and starting their own business, guiding families in the best tax strategies, and developing those around him with strong financial acumen. His goal is simple: to deliver the level of financial insight and discipline that large organizations rely on, but tailored to the needs of small business owners, entrepreneurs, and individuals.

Dan is married to his wife, Talia, and they have 2 dogs and a cat. Away from work, Dan enjoys spending time with his family, is an active member in Freemasonry, and is an avid beekeeper.
